Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!

Halloween is such a strange holiday. I like it, but I think we can all admit... it’s a little odd. If I’m not mistaken, it dates back to the Celtic celebration of the Day of the Dead. And for this reason, we dress ourselves in silly little outfits and beg for candy... Weird!
But that aside, we enjoyed the holiday this year! The first Halloweenie (hehe) thing we did was carve pumpkins with a handful of students from church. I carved a pumpkin in the likeness of the ‘saw ‘em off’ Aggie icon (pictured below). Judging by the pumpkin guts spread across our street yesterday morning, my Aggie spirit is not welcomed in the great city of Austin, TX. RIP little pumpkin.
We spent the evening of the 31st with our friends Julie and Evan watching football and passing out candy to some adorable little ones. Speaking of adorable little ones, check out my little puppy-child... One day, Ian and I will have human-children to humiliate in a similar fashion, but until that day, poor Reese gets all our abuse.
